How Sahaj works
What is calculated, what the AI does, and where the honest limits are.

A reading is only worth something if you know where it came from. Here is the whole of it.
The calculation comes first
When you confirm your birth date, time and place, those details go to an established astrology calculation service. That service returns the planetary positions that practitioners in that system use for the same birth details.
The AI does not calculate any of it. It cannot invent a planet, move a house, or make up a timing window. It is given the facts and asked to explain them.
Vedic and Western stay separate
Vedic and Western astrology use different reference points and different techniques, and they disagree. Sahaj asks which one you want and tells you in a sentence how they differ.
If you ask for both, you get two clearly labelled readings. They are never blended into a single answer, because a blended answer would belong to neither tradition.
Your birth time matters, and Sahaj is honest about it
Some of the most specific parts of a chart, including the Ascendant, the houses and certain timing methods, depend on knowing your birth time closely.
- Exact time: the full reading is available.
- Approximate time: Sahaj works with the approximation, avoids claims that would change minute to minute, and says its confidence is lower.
- Unknown time: Sahaj asks whether you can approximate it. If you cannot, it offers only the parts of a reading that are valid without a time, and names what it is leaving out.
It will not quietly fill the gap with a guess.
The language is careful on purpose
Sahaj says “may”, “suggests”, and “a period to pay attention to”. It does not say “will”.
It will not predict health, death, pregnancy or the outcome of a legal case. It will not tell you what to do with your money. It will not use fear, curses or doshas to push you toward anything. If a reading cannot be supported by what the chart actually shows, it does not get written.
You can always ask why
Send explain why and Sahaj will tell you which factors a statement came from. If the reasoning does not hold up, you will be able to see that for yourself.
Uploading a chart you already have
If you have a Kundli, you can send a photo or a PDF instead of typing your details. Sahaj reads the details out of it to save you the typing, shows you what it read, and asks you to confirm. The chart is then recalculated from those confirmed details. The uploaded document is a shortcut for data entry, never the source of the reading.
What you get
One reading, in four forms: the text with its reasoning and its limitations, a chart image, a spoken version, and a short vertical video with captions in your language. All four come from the same calculation. Asking for the video again, or asking Sahaj to send something a second time, does not recalculate anything.
